1. What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device — phone, tablet or computer — when you open a website. It lets the site recognise that device on the next page or the next visit. 2. Essential cookies
These keep the shop working and cannot be switched off, because without them the site cannot serve you a session:

- Security cookies: carry the token that proves a form was submitted from our own pages, which is what stops forged requests being accepted.

3. Advertising and measurement cookies
These are set by third parties and only after you allow them. They tell us which adverts brought people to the shop and let those platforms show our products again to people who have already visited. If you decline, the shop works exactly as before — we simply lose the measurement.
The advertising accounts behind these cookies belong to SCROLLWORK LLC, which manages the campaigns for this site. The shop itself is operated by the seller named in the footer; the two are separate companies.
Google Ads
Records which advert or search term led to a visit, and whether that visit ended in an order, so we can tell which campaigns are worth running.

4. Turning cookies off
Besides the banner on this site, every browser lets you block or delete cookies directly:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies
Blocking essential cookies will break parts of the shop, including the basket and the order forms.
To control Google advertising specifically, use Google Ads Settings. For Meta, use the Meta Ad Preferences.
5. Changing your mind
The first time you arrive, a banner asks what you allow. You can accept everything or keep only the essential cookies.
That answer is itself stored in a cookie. Clear the cookies for this site in your browser and the banner will appear again on your next visit, letting you choose differently.
