1.Fourteen days to decide
If you change your mind, you can return the item within 14 days of the day it was delivered, even if you have opened the box and tried it. You do not have to give a reason.
That window is your statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law — a right, not a favour, with rules we cannot vary — and it applies the same way in every country we deliver to.
The right of withdrawal sets out the legal procedure, the model form and the deadline for the refund. This page covers the practical side: how to send the item back, what happens if it has been used, who pays the postage, and how the money reaches you.
2.How to send something back
There are no forms to print. It works like this:
- 1Write to info@ketravia.com, or use the contact form with the topic "Return", giving your order number and the item you want to return.
- 2We reply with the return address and the instructions for your country.
- 3Pack the item safely, with every accessory and manual it came with. The original box is welcome if you still have it, but it is not a condition of the return.
- 4Send it to the address we gave you with a tracked service, and keep the proof of postage.
- 5We check the item when it arrives and send your refund.
3.If the product has been used
You can return the item even if you have opened the box and tried it. The original packaging is welcome, but it is not a condition of the return.
You are only liable for a reduction in value caused by handling the item beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. In that case, that reduction may be deducted from the refund.
You may switch a power tool on to check that it works — that is what you would do in a shop. A tool that has done a job is a different matter: cutting residue, scratched housings, worn blades, discs or belts, or batteries cycled well beyond a quick test show handling beyond a test, and the loss in value they cause may be deducted from the refund, as consumer law allows.
4.When and how you are refunded
We send the refund as soon as we have checked the item, and in any case within the time limit consumer law sets.
The money goes back the way you paid. If you paid the courier in cash there is no payment to reverse, so we agree a refund method with you by email.
The refund covers the price of the item, which is the whole of what you paid: the parcel reached you at no delivery cost, so there is nothing else of ours to give back.
5.Who pays for the return journey
If you simply changed your mind, the cost of sending the item back is yours. If we sent the wrong item, or it arrived damaged or faulty, we pay for getting it back to us.
6.Damaged, faulty or wrong on arrival
Tell us within 48 hours if you can, with photos of the item and of the packaging. You choose between a replacement and a full refund of what you paid, and we arrange the collection at our cost.
Reporting it later does not remove your legal rights — it only makes the claim against the carrier harder.
7.Faults that show up later: the 24-month warranty
The 14-day return is separate from the warranty. Every product we sell is covered for 24 months against manufacturing faults.
If something stops working months after delivery, write to info@ketravia.com with the order number, a description of the fault and a few photos. We will arrange a repair, a replacement or a refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8.Who handles returns
Returns and warranty claims are handled by WHATECH MOBILE CO., LIMITED, the seller, at info@ketravia.com.
Write to that address before sending anything back: we answer with the return address and the steps to follow.
